Arati puvvu Barada curry is Telanga State authentic fried curry recipe which is prepared with dry spices and gram flour, seasoned with fresh coriander leaves.

Step 1)
To prepare Arati puvvu Barada/Banana Flower curry, heat oil in a non stick pan for few seconds, add 1 tsp of mustard seeds, 1tsp of cumin seeds, roast and cook, then add 1\4 cup of chopped onions into the pan and cook for a minute.
Step 2)
Add 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder mix snd saute for 5 seconds, add peeled and cleaned200 grams of banana flowers into the pan.
Step 3)
Roast banana flowers for2 to 3 minutes or until soft, add 1 cup of fresh water into the pan.
Step 4)
Now add 1 tsp of salt into the pan sauté and cook.
Step 5)
Add 1 tsp of red chilli powder , mix once and close the pan with lid, cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 6)
Add 1 tsp of crushed garlic, mix well.
Step 7)
Now add 1 cup of Besan or Gram flour slowly into the boiling pan, sauté for few minutes , roast until water dries off in slow flame.
Step 8)
Add 1 cup of chopped spring onions into the fried Banana curry to enhance the taste of the curry, spring onion are optional.
Step 9)
Now transfer the prepared Banana Barada curry into the serving bowl.
Step 10)
Serve with plain rice with ghee or serve hot with Chapati/Indian flat bread.
