When i visited Nepal i had explored eating food from the local eatery outlets. Many of them served this dish which was freshly prepared with the local growns. For my curiosity I enquired with one of the chef about the dish.He then explained and showed the preparation process of this quick and easy to prepare dish.what else to say tried this recipe in my kitchen after coming back to home,it came out tasty, everyone in the house appreciated me for the dish which i prepared with same flavours and Taste.

Cabbage Pepper Fry Recipe
Ingredients for Cabbage Pepper Fry
Cabbage: 200 grams
Potatoes: 50 grams
Peanut Oil: 1 Tbsp
Pepper Powder: 1 Tsp
Cumin Seeds: 2 Tsp
Salt: As per taste
Cabbage Pepper Fry Preparation Process
Step 1
Clean the cabbage before you chop ,cut into thin stripes.
Step 2
Take a flat non stick pan,heat oil for 10 to 15 seconds .
Add cumin seeds, in a low flame splatter them for a few seconds.
Step 3
Add chopped Potatoes saute for a few seconds,
Then fry for 6 to 8 minutes until potatoes becomes soft.
Step 4
Add chopped cabbage into the Pan sauté for a minute.
Step 5
Fry the cabbage for 10 to 15 minutes until Cabbage becomes soft and light brown in colour.
Step 6
Add required amount of salt mix well and fry.
Step 7
Add pepper powder, gently mix all together for a minute.
Step 8
Switch off the flame and dish out the prepared cabbage pepper fry into a serving bowl.
Step 9
Garnish with fresh mint leaves or coriander leaves.
Tips to Remember
Use fresh local grown cabbage
You can replace with red cabbage
Cook in a medium to high flame
Avoid burning of Cabbage and potatoes while frying
Stir the preparation continuously while frying in order to avoid burning
