Sweet Corn Tikki/Pattie is an popular Indian street food snack made with sweet corn and sweet potatoes, flavored with spices and onions to enhance the taste of this semi fried fritters, lemon juice is added for tangy taste, rice flour is added for binding corns and potatoes.
Sweet Corn Tikkis are round disc shaped fritter tastes crispy sweet and spicy, you can accomplish Sweet Corn Tikkis with any flavored rice or as an evening snack or as a side dish with Sambar/Rasam Rice.

Ingredients Required to prepare Sweet Corn Tikkis
Step by Step Preparation Process of Sweet Corn Tikkis
In a mixing bowl add 1 cup of chopped and pre boiled sweet potatoes, 1 cup chopped onions , finely chopped green chillies, mix altogether.
Now add 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
Then add 1/2 tsp of garam masala and chat masala, add 1 table spoon full of sesame seeds into the mixing bowl.
Now add 1 cup of preboiled sweet corns, 1 cup of fresh coriander leaves and 1 tbsp of lemon juice into the mixing bowl.
Mix all the ingredients, then add 1/4 cup or 1 cup of rice flour into the bowl, mix again to blend with all other ingredients.
Now add 1/4 cup full of water into the tikki mixture, mix well to make a thick consistency of the mixture to make Tikkis.
Now take lemon sized corn mixture and make small disc shaped patties or tikkis with your fingers or place the mixture on your palms and press with your finger into round shaped tikkis.
Take a non stick flat pan, heat 2 to 3 tbsp. of oil for few seconds, now place the prepared tikkis into the pan one after the other as shown in the picture, roast tikkis in a medium flame for 5 minutes.
Turn or flip Tikkis , roast for 5 more minutes or until done. you can even fry them using air fryer or deep fry as per your choice.
Serve hot with onions and tomato ketchup or with chutney of your choice.
