Tri color salad or veg salads are refreshing meals which can be easy to make at home with fresh vegetables and  greens of your choice which are grown locally according to season. I prepare my own dressing to salads using olive oil or vegetable oil coconut oil to enhance the flavour of salad.

Fresh greens and raw veggies are superb source of natural healthy fibers which boosts immune system and helps in overall health.

Consuming salads on each has several health benefit,you can prepare salads with raw veegies greens and fruits of your choice.

In my Tricolor salad recipe i had used cabbage carrot cucumbers tomatoes and fresh coriander leaves to give a tri colour appearence which  represents three colours of  Indian Flag on Republic Day just to start the day with three colours which indicate the tri colour flag of my country India.

Tri colour veg salad is crunchy and good to  taste with loaded healthy fibers which are easy to digest.

Ingredients Required To Prepare Veg Salad || Tri color Salad


  • Grated Carrot – 1 Cup
  • Grated Cabbage – 1 Cup
  • Chopped Cucumber – 1 Cup
  • Chopped Tomato – 1 Cup
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves – 1 Cup


  • ACV (Apple cedar Venegar – 1 Tsp
  • Lemon Juice – 1 Tsp
  • Salt – Pinch
  • Pepper Powder – Pinch


  • Roasted Flaxseeds – 1 Tsp
  • Roasted Sesame Seeds – 1 Tsp
  • Mixed Herbs – 1 Tsp

Step By Step Preparation Method

Step 1)

To prepare veg salad  firstly take a small bowl to make salad dressing. Add 1 tsp of ACV (Apple cedar vinegar) and 1 tsp of lemon juice into the bowl combine together by mixing with a spoon.

Step 2)

Then add a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper powder into the dressing bowl mix with ACV and  lemon juice, keep aside to prepare veg salad.

Step 3)

Now take a salad mixing bowl in that add 1 cup of grated cabbage then add 1 cup of grated carrot and 1 cup of diced cucumber .

Step 4)

Add 1 cup of chopped tomatoes , then add prepared salad dressing into the veggie bowl and add 1 tsp of vegetable oil/olive oil into the salad bowl, mix all together.

Step 5)

Now add 1 cup of freshly chopped coriander leaves mix in with the prepared veg salad.

Step 6)

Now add 1 tsp of roasted flax seeds 1 tsp of roasted sesame seeds and 1 tsp of mixed herbs of your choice into the salad bowl. then gently mix alltogether to make a fresh veg salad.

Step 7)

Now gently give a nice mix with the prepared veg salad to give a nice aroma and taste to the salad.

Step 8)

Dish out in a serving bowl and enjoy the super crunchy veg salad.


  • Use fresh vegetables instead of frozen veggies.
  • Avoid store brought dressing , make your own fresh dressing to enhance the taste.
  • You can substitute vegetable oil with Olive oil or Coconut oil.
  • Clean and chop the veggies before you prepare salad.
